On January 22, 1919, the Act of Unification of the Ukrainian People's Republic and the West Ukrainian People's Republic was proclaimed on Sofia Maidan in Kyiv.

The reunification of Ukrainian lands forever entered the history of Ukraine with a great national holiday - the Day of the Unity of Ukraine.

Today, the Day of Sobornosty is extremely relevant and one of the most important memorable days for our Motherland. This is a reminder to every Ukrainian that the strength of our state lies in our unity and the unity of the Ukrainian lands.
