About the Institute
The Dnipro Institute of PJSC "HEI "IAPM" is a separate structural subdivision of the Private Joint-Stock Company "Higher Educational Institution "Interregional Academy of Personnel Management" (Kyiv).
The Interregional Academy of Personnel Management (IAPM) was established in 1989 as a non-governmental higher educational and research institution professionally engaged in management and business issues.
IAPM is the largest economics and humanities higher educational institution in Ukraine, where students from 39 countries study in 20 specialties and 109 specializations. Over the years of operation, thousands of qualified management specialists have been trained: production and business executives, managers, financiers, marketers, sociologists, psychologists, and lawyers.
The Academy
The Academy is licensed at Level IV by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine (MES of Ukraine License No. 156-l dated 19.07.2017) and accredited in all licensed specialties with the right to issue state-standard higher education diplomas. IAPM is a member of the International Personnel Academy (IPA) — an international public organization, as well as the International Association of Universities of the European Universities Continuing Education Network (EUCEN).
The founder and president of the Interregional Academy of Personnel Management is Heorhii Vasyliovych Shchokin, Candidate of Psychological Sciences and Doctor of Sociological Sciences, Doctor of Philosophy, Professor and Academician of numerous domestic, foreign, and international universities and academies, Honorary Professor, Honorary Doctor of higher educational institutions in Azerbaijan, Belarus, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, the USA, and other countries, Honored Worker of Public Education.
General Information
In November 1995, a research and production enterprise was established in Dnipropetrovsk, which performed functions related to ensuring educational activities provided for by licenses issued to IAPM.
In 1997, the research and production enterprise was transformed into the Educational and Consulting Center of the Interregional Academy of Personnel Management. It was one of the first IAPM educational centers in Ukraine. It was granted branch status in 1998.
An important event for DI IAPM was the introduction of full-time education in 2001.
In 2005, the branch was transformed into the Dnipropetrovsk Institute of the Interregional Academy of Personnel Management.
In order to enhance the spirituality of student youth, on August 30, 2010, a student chapel in honor of the "Twelve Apostles" was opened and consecrated in the educational institution's premises.
In the chapel in honor of the "Twelve Apostles", the Akathist is read every Sunday. The Akathist is a special form of Christian poetry, a hymn, thanksgiving, and praise in honor of Jesus Christ, the Most Holy Theotokos, saints, and in honor of a feast, which provides inspiration, spiritual help, and support in difficult life situations.
On September 11, 2017, the Dnipropetrovsk Institute changed its name to the Dnipro Institute.
The modern development of the institute is focused on training not only professional but, above all, comprehensively developed, mobile specialists capable of working in conditions of constant change.
Of great importance here is the involvement of students in joint research with faculty members. Their results are presented and discussed at scientific and practical conferences. The topics of students' scientific reports within these events are related to economic and legal problems of modern society's development.
The material and technical base ensures proper conditions for carrying out the main activities of the Institute.
A student cafe operates within the structure of the educational institution.
Graduates receive a state-standard diploma, issued in accordance with international legal standards, which provides an opportunity to obtain employment in their specialty or continue their studies in many countries of the world.
Among the institute's graduates are entrepreneurs, bank and enterprise executives, chief accountants, small and medium business managers, high-ranking officials, lawyers of state and private firms, law enforcement officers, and others. They work not only in Ukraine but also in many countries around the world — in Belgium, England, Germany, France, Israel, Australia, and other countries.
