The training took place from September 28 to September 30, 2026, at the Mental Health Center of the Vinnytsia Regional State Administration. The training program combined theoretical sessions with practical work. Special attention was paid to supporting veterans' families and restoring family relationships.

During the training, the psychological consequences of traumatic brain injuries caused by blast waves, neurobiological trauma, and modern approaches to recovery were examined. Participants also worked on topics such as moral injury, guilt and shame, loss, and complex emotional experiences.

The practical part provided an opportunity to practice interaction skills with veterans and their family members, as well as to discuss approaches to supporting people in difficult life circumstances.

The training was organized at the initiative of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine in cooperation with the State Institution "Mental Health and Rehabilitation Center 'Lisova Polyana' of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine" within the framework of the "Ukraine Rapid Response Fund" program.
